Charles and I attended The Carnegie’s production of “Dear Evan Hansen” tonight. Folks, if you haven’t seen a show there, you are missing out. The phrase “hidden gem” might be overused, but trust me — that venue is producing quality productions that are worthy of respect and praise, ones that rival the bigger venues. We were both tearing up by the end of this one.

Anyway check out Covington’s up-and-coming theater scene when you get a chance. And if there are still tickets available for this particular musical, snag yours now. You won’t regret it. We are lucky to have them here.

Progress! We have 4 more colorful umbrellas on their way. Then we'll be ready to get Nky Lawn Pros (the folks who did our new sod!) going on phase two of landscaping and walking path connections. This is really coming together according to our evil master plan. 😉

And don't forget we have indoor seating for "those" days like rainy yesterday. We actually filled that up a time or two last night, so it must be time to get the second dining room completed, eh?

We are getting closer to completing our new home. Within the week, we will have new picnic tables and colorful umbrellas to fill out the garden seating. Between the lights and jazz music in the background, we think it’s looking pretty sharp and inviting! And our permanent signage will be up soon, too. 😏

We are so very happy it is April, that it is finally spring. Winter was a brutal roller coaster ride, complete with a 12” snowfall followed by too many days of sub-freezing cold, sprinkled with 80+ degree days, 40+ degree days and 70+ degree days. On top of the weather, we really needed to move to our new location before March 1st. But, that’s all in the past.
