Such a great ministry that Bell Run Union Church offers for all kids (you do not need to attend their church to join the program).

‼️We’re starting up our Awana program this month! 👏🏼

✨Our Awana program is open for kids age 4 through 6th grade!

✨Our program is on Sunday evenings from 5:30 to 7! We meet at the fellowship hall!

✨We would love to see your kids at Awana! So feel free to bring your kids for game time, snacks, and Bible lessons!

✨If you have any questions, comment below.

❗️We have a van to pick up and drop off children. There are limited seats on the van so if you need your child to ride the van, make sure to message our page for more information.

As I am making ice cream this Labor Day, I am feeling grateful to God for this job. I absolutely LOVE making ice cream. Then another thought comes to mind; I DREAD doing dishes. It’s really a small reminder of our broken world though. From the very beginning, God intended us to serve His purpose and be perfectly fulfilled from our work, but the work became difficult once sin entered the world. That is why work can be unpleasant here on earth though God never intended it to be that way. It may not always be cleaning the dishes, but interpersonal problems, fatigue, scheduling conflicts or anything else could stop us from enjoying our job to the fullest.

Did you know that work doesn’t go away when we die? The difference is, if we trust in Jesus as our Savior, we will have rest from our labor in Heaven because we will simply serve the Lord forever. God is always at work and even the angels have jobs. The difference is we will not dread any aspect of our work in Heaven since it will be a perfect environment. We will look forward to it, it will be rewarding, and our jobs will fit us perfectly because they were given to us by our Creator.

So what do we do in the meantime when we have to do the dreadful dishes? Have an eternal perspective when it comes to your job here on earth! Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord. Have a grateful attitude and look at those unpleasant situations as opportunities to show others what it means to have the hope of Jesus. Glorify Him in all you do and also rest in Him. Let’s stop working for the weekend, start working for the Lord and find rest in Him.

👋 Have you heard about God's Adventure Camp?

This nonprofit organization located in Roulette, PA offers various Christ centered retreats for youth, adults and families. In addition to the retreats, they also offer a program called Come Ride With Us that includes equine activities for all ages such as guided trail rides (8 & older), arena lessons (8 & older) and pony rides (younger than 8 years old)!

Their goal is to provide an atmosphere and opportunity to introduce campers to Jesus Christ and then move them forward spiritually.
