The story of Plank Road Pizza began in 1851 when the Western Plank Road was built to connect St. The road was constructed of wood and started at Boones Lick Road and ended right here in Cottleville. It was a one day journey by horse to travel the road from end to end, and the Plank Road helped to increase the population of Cottleville and bring more people to this great area. Each day begins at 6:00 am making dough for you 👨‍🍳. It doesn’t end there, then we make the dressing for our famous salad, the tomato sauce for your favorite pizza, shred the mozz and tend to the herbs in the garden (we love this time of year when we can grow them right here) After that, we cook the meats, hand dice the vegetable toppings and so much more. We think it all makes a difference, and we hope you do too.
