In case you haven’t heard, our favorite queen bee is retiring from farming. Age Old Agriculture
Ellie,
As you begin this new chapter, we want you to know how deeply appreciated you are by everyone whose lives you’ve touched through your work, your generosity, and your care for this community.
You didn’t just grow food — you cultivated connection, nourishment, and joy. Season after season, your hands and heart gave us more than fresh produce; you gave us a reminder of what it means to live closely with the earth and with one another. Your dedication to sustainable farming, to feeding people well, and to caring for the land has left a lasting mark on our community and on all of us lucky enough to know you.
Thank you for every early morning, every harvest, every conversation at the stand, every shared recipe, every seed planted with hope, and every act of kindness woven into your work. You filled our tables, our bellies, and our hearts.
While we will miss seeing you in the fields and markets, we are so happy for you as you step into a well-earned retirement. May this next season of life bring you rest, adventure, beauty, good health, and the same abundance you have given so freely to others.
Your impact will continue to grow long after the last harvest.
With love, gratitude, and warmest wishes,
Cotter Bridge Market
