Opened by Kui Bor and Mee Woo in 1969, the Hong Kong Restaurant has been serving the community of Corona for more than 42 years. Our chefs use traditional Cantonese cooking methods along with our high quality ingredients to create a Chinese dining experience like no other in the area. We offer hundreds of traditional Chinese dishes and have a full stocked bar for cocktails. We do dine-in (our two

dining rooms can easily seat over 100 guests) and take-out orders. Please feel free to stop by if you're curious as to see (and taste) why the Corona community has accepted us as the gold standard in Chinese cuisine in the area. Hi everyone! Lena Woo here, eldest granddaughter of the family (also server at the restaurant from 2002-2007). It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that my grandfather, Kui Bor Woo, founder and owner of the Hong Kong Restaurant, has passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15th. He is survived by his wife, Mee Woo, his two children, six grand children, and two great grand children. He lived for 91 years on this earth and we are grateful for every minute with him.

To our loyal customers and longtime friends, I know he would like to thank all of your for visiting the restaurant whether it was a weekly basis, every month, once a year, stopping by for a quick bite, coming on Christmas or New Year’s or any other tradition/special occasion.

Our family will close for half day for his service on Saturday, March 8. We will open for dinner service at 5pm.

We thank all of you for your love and kindness for all these years to our family and our second home at the Hong Kong Restaurant.
