🍔🎬 BURGER BOYS REVIEW: LAKEHOUSE W**E BAR & GRILL 🎬🍔
The Burger Boys have once again risked waistlines, cholesterol counts, and perfectly clean shirts in pursuit of burger greatness.
This week’s expedition took us to Lakehouse W**e Bar & Grill, perched beautifully above Lake Norman.
Now, the welcome at the door was not exactly a ticker-tape parade.
Let’s just say our hosts greeted us with all the warmth of a January dock chair.
But fear not!
The service was excellent, the view of Lake Norman was spectacular, and before long we were willing to forgive the frosty opening act.
Then arrived the star of the show.
An eight-ounce burger cooked to absolute perfection.
Juicy. Flavorful. Beautifully proportioned. And nestled inside a bun so good it deserved its own dressing room.
Then came the supporting cast:
Two enormous onion rings.
These were not onion rings.
These were onion bracelets.
Golden, crunchy, magnificent circles so large they could easily be slipped right between the buns, creating what can only be described as a beef-and-onion masterpiece.
The fries were equally impressive — generous, crisp, hot, and cooked exactly the way fries ought to be.
We’ve had several excellent 4.5-star burgers on our travels, but this one managed to squeeze just a little more mustard out of the bottle.

The greeting may have been cool…
but the burger was well done — and we don’t mean the temperature!
The view was spectacular.
The service was first-rate.
And the burger?
A Lake Norman beef beacon shining brightly across the buniverse.
