To Our Dearest DanielSan Customers,
We would like to let you know that our last day of operations is on Sunday, January 28th.
Thank you for the wonderful 4 years that you have given us. Despite opening during the worst possible time (COVID, 2020), we’ve continued to have great business due to your loyal support. We’ve witnessed customers dine in or get to go orders every day, twice a week or once a week getting their favorite food from DanielSan. As much as we would like to continue to serve you, we have decided to do what’s best for our family. We’ve been very fortunate and was able to sell and we wish the new owners the same luck we have enjoyed. Their new restaurant concept will be an exciting addition to Downtown Cornelius and we can’t wait to watch them grow and succeed. Please be on the lookout for them in the coming months.
Maybe you’ve seen our kids Daniel aka “Spiderman” and his sister, Aurea running around the restaurant. We really appreciate all of you for understanding that this is a family restaurant, and we appreciate you engaging with our son while he hands you the menu or asked you if you wanted to sit inside or outside (despite the cold weather).
We always tell ourselves that we work for our kids. However, we have also realized that we have not had enough time for them. We do not want to rob them of the experiences that kids normally would have, just because they have to stay with us here in the restaurant. We also don’t want to miss out on family vacations while they are young. We had to make a tough decision as parents to change our path. Maybe when they grow older, you’ll see us back. Meanwhile, signing out.
