Our founder, Randy Larson, would have been 70 today. We speak his name often, remembering all he taught us as we carry on. If you knew him you know his finger print was on everything that is Monica’s. He was much too humble to ever call it Randy’s, even though everything about us is like his signature. Unique, simple and very thoughtful.

Each day we face possible updates without him. It’s not as fun as it was with him, but we feel so blessed to still be here. Sal and I will forever be adjusting to ownership, a beautiful gift he left to us.

This day when he should be here, deflecting all birthday wishes for his 70th, we’d like to share an update. Our signage needs changing, after recently residing the building, and we will be updating the logo some. Our flame we are known for will now include Randy’s signature “R”. Do you see it? We hope he would like it. He will forever be the one who’s love of caring for people started our fire. We hope to continue being part of this community, and University, for years to come. We’ll carry his signature in our flame.
