" Looks like we are deemed a "HIGH IMPACT EVENT"
OFF-REGULAR-DUTY POLICE SERVICES PERMIT APPLICATION (CONTINUATION PAGE) CORAL GABLES POLICE DEPARTMENT OFF-REGULAR-DUTY DETAIL FEE SCHEDULE (effective March 1, 2026)
1. Police Officer hourly rate (4-hour minimum): $68.00
2. Police Sergeant hourly rate (as per SOP #90): $73.00
3. Police Lieutenant hourly rate (as per SOP #90): $80.00
4. Police Major hourly rate (as per SOP #90): $90.00
5. The Chief of Police with the concurrence of the City Manager deem that events within the City will have an impact on operations throughout the city, in part because of any one or collective events during a set period of time, a High Impact Rate will apply to those events with caveats that the City may/will impose on the vendors(s) or requirements on employees to staff said events.
Those High Impact rates are as follows:
Police Officer Hourly rate (4 hour Minimum) $100.00.
Police Sergeant (as per SOP # 90) $120.00.
Police Lieutenant hourly rate (as per SOP #90) $140.00.
Police Major hourly rate (as per SOP #90) $160.00.
Police :$1680 Per Game! 20 Days, 26 Games = $43,680
EMS Crew: $680 per Game 20 Days, 26 Games = $ 17,680
City Plaza use: $1575 per 4 Days, 20Days, = 7,875
Rent + ECT. per month to the City of Coral Gables: $17,400
And what exactly is considered a high impact event? Never was considered it to be in the last 33 years.
