Hello Green Gables Family!

First and foremost I want to express gratitude for all the messages of support, curiosity, appreciation, and love we have received since closing our doors in 2021.

As many of you know, Green Gables has been in a cocoon phase. After a long time as the beautiful, productive, and all consuming caterpillar that was Green Gables Cafe- we needed to pull inward and reassess what our next steps were going to be.

If you didn’t know, when a caterpillar goes into a cocoon it completely dissolves into goo… All structure is lost and it is hard to know what is going to come next. The cells that are responsible for the transformation are called ‘imaginal’ cells. And it really- it has taken a lot of dissolving and a lot of imagination to know how to move forward.

While Green Gables Cafe will not be opening its doors as a brick and mortar for now, I am excited to share some offerings with you soon!
