I know many people have been wondering what the status is with the shop, so here is the latest status update. After going through 5 architects, Not to mention a few dozen fruitless calls to others, we're back with the 1st one, and are trying to hash out a deal for the changes that we need to the plans. They want an additional $10000, on top of the 7000 we already paid them, to do so. Obviously, that's a problem. We're working on Options, and recently had a talk with the cove building official.We still need plans, but in lieu of the entire building, they're willing to take the old building plans and and addendums for the changes.Honestly it's not much help, but I'm meeting with the architect today to see if that will reduce the Cost. We're close to the entire amount budgeted for this project before we've even started the construction, so not going too great.
