The Akoostics have been playing music together for over fifteen years.

Members of the band perform at local festivals, community musical theater, holiday celebrations as well as appearing at a variety of local bars and restaurants. Phil LaGesse (mandolin, guitar, vocals), Doris Smith (vocals), and Tim Dailey (guitar, harmonica, vocals) enjoy a style best described as Americana/Folk/Country.
