We’re a very small, simple, southern traditional, “meat and three” type restaurant. My name is Dale Strong.

Biscuits from scratch, self serve salad bar, hot bar breakfasts and lunches and great homemade desserts. We also cater almost any event.
168 W Broad, Cookeville, TN I’ve spent half my life in the restaurant business… dishwasher, prep and line cook, kitchen manager and now general manager. I realized years ago that I enjoyed cooking and serving outside the restaurant even more. I love cooking my

own food and serving it in different environments to different people and watching those smiling faces come back for seconds. From taco bars to Italian cuisine, from weddings to business or school functions and anything in between.

Reminder… we’re gonna close tomorrow for Labor Day.

I’m in a pork kind of mood… chocolate also!
So tomorrow we’ll have Fried Pork Chops, Pulled Pork and Blackened Tilapia.
Roasted Broccoli, Corn Cass, Sweet Smashed Taters, Fried Okra and more.
Chocolate Cobbler(recipe from mama), Fudge Pie(recipe from grandma) and chocolate pecan pie(recipe from great grandma) 😊
And don’t forget about the chocolate gravy!

I am hijacking my husband's business page today while he is busy drafting his fantasy football team. Please take a minute to wish this man a happy birthday!

Many of you know him simply as a cook and the owner of Strong Kitchen, but for those who don't know him well, let me tell you a little about him. Dale is one of the most selfless people I know. He is an amazing husband, a loving father and son, a great friend, and, from what I hear, the best boss.

I wish I could list all of the selfless things he has done, but I need to finish this before he finds out what I am up to!
