Some will say why make a post if you didn't even win?? Well, here's the thing…

Owning a restaurant, or any small business for that matter is HARD!! Some days we think to ourselves "why do we do this? How can we keep going?". That's just the truth.

There are so many amazing BBQ businesses in our area, and to have people take the time to vote for us is something we don’t take for granted.

We know a vote may seem like a small thing, but to a small, locally owned business like ours, it means so much. Every vote, every customer who walks through our doors, every order, every recommendation to a friend, and every person who continues to come back and support us is a reminder of why we do what we do.... even on those days, we don't know how much longer we can do it!!

We do not strive for the limelight, fame, or even to be known as "the best". We only ever strive to do OUR BEST. Show gratitude, be decent people, and keep it simple. Do something that we can still wake up most days and say "we enjoy what we do." We've been blessed with strong and amazing staff and with loyal and amazing customers. That is not taken for granted. 

Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote, share, recommend us, and cheer us on. We are incredibly grateful to be a part of this community and honored to be recognized as one of the county’s best.
