We are heartbroken. Last week we lost one of our favorite regulars. John moved to Constantine around the same time we took over Constantine Harvey House. He would always come over at the end of the night for a nightcap of Budweiser or Peppermint Schnapps. Not the strong stuff- he would only drink the green bottle because the 100 proof burned his tongue. He would bring us over his famous goulash and chex mix everytime he made them. He will be missed dearly.

We would like to invite everyone in to have a drink for John this Friday from 3-5. Grab a beer, sip on some schnapps, and play some Keno in memorial for our fallen friend.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies with the owners of Zimmy’s and their staff. We cannot truly imagine the loss they are going through. Being a local bar, we know that bars are where friends and family come together to create the best memories. Zimmy’s is such a staple in our community and that building will be very missed. We pray that they will be able to rebuild and grow into something better than before🫂❤️

We also pray for the families in the area affected by this gas leak. Please remember to have gas detectors in your homes and businesses. Be educated on how to detect a gas leak and what to do if there’s one in your area! Safety First Always‼️
