From slanging fried chicken & boudin balls on the side of Ave F, to frying ribs at MLK Park, my journey has been nothing short of wild, humbling, and God-ordained. Stepping into this business was my way of honoring the late-night conversations, the laughter, the lessons, and the love I shared with my Aunt Ann and Uncle Mike before they left here.This was my way of carrying them with me.
I’ve always moved out of pure passion - never chasing riches, never doing it for clout - but because I genuinely love people, I value community, and nothing makes me happier than watching folks enjoy my food. Period.
I went and got a whole food trailer with not a dime in my pocket - and still had the nerve to be picky! Only God!
I’m forever grateful for my customers who became family, offered real criticism, encouraged me, and kept booking me even after I said I wasn’t operating anymore. I’ve never cared what the next person had to say — it’s always easy to have an opinion about something you can’t or won’t ever do!

Meeting Chef Needra Harris from season 11 Hell’s Kitchen! Iconic. Trying those fire empanadas from Comfort Foodies owner Elsa Matthew’s and that banana pudding. Unreal! 🔥 Getting a slice of that amazing pizza from Demetrius Walker owner of Meek’s Vegan Pizza & the incredible flavors from Chef Cassi Gregory owner of Cassi’s Table. Listen…my taste buds are still buzzing.
The energy, the networking, the genuine connections through feed the soul foundation and Houston Black Restaurant Week—it fed my spirit in a way I didn’t even know I needed. The vibes were unmatched, even though I didn’t win a thing on those lottery tickets 😂. All I can say is this:
✨2026, I’m coming for everything God has for me.
✨New doors, new collaborations, new opportunities, new levels.
✨I’m thankful for every trial, every error, every “no”, every lesson, every person who helped me without wanting anything in return.
✨The hustle in me is alive, recharged, and ready.
