A place where vintage table cloths, mixed matched china, servers that treat you like family, and food that can bring you back to your childhood with one bite ~ a place where we take you back to Grandma's kitchen table! Our southern roots run a helluva lot deeper than just where you’re born. It’s traditions, recipes, and stories that have been passed down through generations. We love sweet tea and

swimmin’ holes, college football and Cheerwine, barbecue and bourbon, front porches and fried chicken, magnolias and Moon Pies, biscuits and gravy. But more importantly, it’s having a sense of tradition, of family, of memories, and of hard work. There is nothing that could be truer about cooking in the south ~ it is a feeling, it’s not something that can be taught in a fancy university. It’s something that you have to learn standing on a chair beside your grandmother in her kitchen, making your first batch of biscuits with a big wooden spoon and flour all over the kitchen.

We love each and everyone of y’all and this has been one amazing blessed ride ❤️

Today will truly be a first come - first serve we want to serve as many as possible but we will be running out of items before the end. Please be patient we are truly trying to give everyone those last memories! Our lines were extremely long at lunch and we are preparing for the same at dinner.

Today will truly be a first come - first serve we want to serve as many as possible but we will be running out of items before the end. We are prepared to be busy but we also know that we will sell out! Please be patient we are truly trying to give everyone those last memories! We will update the menu between lunch and dinner for changes.

Y’ALL we have felt the LOVE so much today!
We are sold out for the night!

Tomorrow is it and we are so heartbroken but we are going out with a bang with our famous Granny T’s Chicken ‘n Dumpling, Mama’s Meatloaf and Brunswick Stew - get here early because it will be a sell out day!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of our beloved little restaurant ~ Our final day will be Thursday, June 8th. These past five years have been an incredible journey and one amazing ride! We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to have been part of such a vibrant community.

First and foremost, we want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your unwavering support, kindness, and loyalty have been the pillars that held us up during both the highs and the lows. We will miss seeing your smiling faces, sharing stories and creating cherished memories together - y'all have truly became a part of our family! As much as we have loved serving you and being a part of this warm and welcoming community, we find ourselves at a crossroads.

Over the past three years, we have faced numerous challenges that have tested our resolve and faith. Challenges brought on by the pandemic, inflation, and rising costs have left us exhausted and without a viable solutions. We want you to know that this decision was not made lightly. It has been many, many sleepless nights, heartfelt conversations, and lots of prayers. We have poured our hearts, souls, and life savings into this business, and it breaks our hearts to say "goodbye".

While this marks the end of an era, we remain eternally grateful for the opportunity to have served you. We hope the memories we have shared will continue to warm your hearts and that the spirit of our Southern Hospitality will live on in your lives.

While Sweet 'Taters may be closing, our love for the South and its delectable cuisine will endure. We urge you to continue supporting local businesses that make this community thrive. Together, let us show our strength as a community and support our amazing small business in the area!

Our menu is filled with Southern favorites that'll make your taste buds sing. Check out what we've got cookin' up for ya: We’ve got the juiciest Hand Cut Ribeye Steak, cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. It's a steak that'll have you savorin' every tender bite, y'all.

But that's not all! We've also got a treat for all you rib lovers out there. Sink your teeth into our mouthwaterin' Sour Cherry Ribs and Blackberry Ribs. They're fall-off-the-bone tender and glazed with a sweet and tangy sauce that'll have you lickin' your fingers clean.

For those lookin' for a touch of elegance, our Chicken Marsala is a dish that'll transport you straight to Italy. You have heard of deep dish pizza but have you heard of a deep dish stuffed cookie pie?

We have a chocolate chip cookie base layered with Nutella, Oreos, Crunchy Peanut Butter, and Creamy Peanut Butter topped with chocolate chip cookie - baked and then topped with a chocolate sauce and mini Reese Cups - Y’ALL this is so rich and amazing!
