We donated the 389.00 from the fundraiser on th 13th to the 4H auction pool (and padded it a little). Thank you to everyone who donated, and gave insight to where it should go. Good luck at fair!!

Last Thursday, August 13th, we celebrated being open for two years by donating all profits to those farmers, ranchers, friends, and neighbors who willingly, and unselfishly dropped everything, gathered their equipment, and ran to help stop fires. We did that believing that an account had been opened at Bank of Eastern Oregon specifically for helping with those costs each of you incurred, whether fuel, equipment damage, or lost wages. Unfortunately, that account that someone had announced on FB had not been set up at the time of this posting. We raised 389.00 that day, and we don’t want it to remain in our coffers. We want to make it an even 500.00, and donate it to a good cause. So… we are thinking of putting it in the 4-H auction, so it may be spread out among the kids of our county. Please give me your opinions, good or bad, or options and ideas that may differ. Thank you to each and every person who came through to help us help a cause to honor those who helped keep our community safe.
