We wrapped up this dated, failed shower for a great family in Concord NC, we replaced the dated soggy water in, water out system with a new modern custom waterproof tile shower, 24x48 polished porcelain from Floor and Decor with minimal grout joints, black stone pebbles from Home Depot, Flofx drain with the X Factor in black, we replaced the janky shower head fitting, eliminating the seat, making this shower bigger and better than before.

Progress on this Custom Waterproof Shower in Concord NC, for these large format tiles we had to shim the walls to get flat, the wall on the right still had a slight bow in it, so we floated it out with mud, dialing in our prep work for an awesome installation, flofx drain and mud pan, flofx sheet membrane and Mapei Aquadefense for a shower pan to last through the years, we are in love with this beautiful 24x48 polished porcelain tile from Floor and Decor, some black pebble stones for the shower floor will turn this outdated moldy mess of a shower into a personal spa pashleytile.com

We started another project in Concord NC, it appears this shower has been done over once before and a failed pan replacement attempt, after demolition I noticed shower head fitting was jacked up, so we replaced it with pex and a new drop ear elbow, we cut out the old clamping drain, added a layer of plywood ready for a new Flofx drain and mudbed

Phase 1 of current project in Charlotte NC completed, someone else will finish the paint, wallpaper and electrical, this bathroom was a fighter, from bad framing to the plumbing, but we built this one to last the ages, 100% waterproof and solid, Flofx drain with the new Tile Coach grate in polished chrome, Moen chrome fixtures, I love the contrast of black and white, tile is from Floor and Decor, we definitely had blood, sweat and tears on this one, I fell off an aluminum work bench and jacked up my leg, it's healing nicely, client loves it and now phase 2 bedroom floors are next in a wood plank porcelain tile
