Our team had the opportunity to tour the Bolani Flatbread Factory in Concord, CA today! It was a great experience learning more about how these delicious flatbreads are made. Keep an eye on our school menus, they'll be coming soon!

Food & Nutrition Services has a team of Supervisors, Culinary Professionals, and Administrators who manage everything from menu creation to dining staff training, and everything in between. This includes understanding and managing any policy changes and operational challenges. This outstanding group of people is dedicated to keeping MDUSD School Food operational, efficient, and innovative.

The Dads of FNS keep student nutrition up and running. Some of the dads on our team work at individual school sites, while others work in our central kitchen or warehouse. Either way, their dedication to and enjoyment of their work helps us to continue nourishing students every school day.

We’re so proud to both employ dads and participate in the system that supports them with their students at home as well. Thank you to all MDUSD dads!

District Offices are closed today, Friday June 19, 2026 in honor of Juneteenth.

A huge shoutout to our Warehouse Team! They manage and distribute over $8M of food inventory per year, including 1M pounds of produce. This team delivers to 46 schools across the district twice a week to keep kitchens supplied with spices, produce, dried goods, paper goods, and more.
