🇮🇹 CABARRUS UNWRAPPED: A Recipe for Small Business Success

Brothers Tom and Johnny Cook had a vision for creating an authentic Italian market and deli rooted in family, food and community. When they found the perfect location on Cabarrus Avenue, they turned to the Cabarrus Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and its network of partners to help turn that vision into reality.

Tutti's Italian Market and Deli opened its downtown Concord storefront in November 2022, offering New York-style deli sandwiches, prepared Italian meals and specialty imported products.

🍝 A few ingredients in their recipe for success:

💡Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Small Business Center provided guidance, workshops, referrals and connections as they worked through the process of launching their business.

🤝 Flywheel Foundation’s Venture Mentoring Service connected them with experienced business mentors who could offer guidance and perspective along the way.

🌐 The Cabarrus Chamber helped them build connections with other business owners and community leaders.

Before opening their doors, Tom and Johnny also had an opportunity to test menu items and host special dinners with experienced restaurateur Dr. Allen Dobson of 73 & Main Restaurant.

Just over a year later, Tutti’s was named the Cabarrus Chamber’s 2023 New Business of the Year.

Tutti’s is a great example of what can happen when an entrepreneur with a great idea connects with the right resources. And that’s exactly what the Cabarrus Center is designed to do—bring entrepreneurs, mentors and partner organizations together to help businesses start, grow and succeed.

It's been a busy week already at Tutti's and we just wanted to send a reminder that our annual back-to-school sale is currently going on.
This week only(through Sunday the 23rd) all family-size trays are buy one, get one 50% off.

Last year, this was one of our biggest sales and we sold out of certain trays every day! Stock the freezer, plan ahead for family night, or gift that new school teacher an easy meal! Mangia Mangia 🇮🇹🤌🇮🇹

Amazing to work with our friends and community partners at 73 & Main Restaurant. Chef Brandon has put together two amazing burgers from Tutti's homemade meatball blend. Pop over tonight(Wed) for a smashburger collab at 73! Mangia Mangia!!

This week, we’re taking our $10 Smashburger Special straight to Italy! 🇮🇹🤌🏼

Our local meat of the week comes from Tutti's Italian Market and Deli in Concord, and we’re turning their delicious Italian meatball patty into TWO seriously crave-worthy Italian smashburgers.

🇮🇹 The Classic Italian — Italian meatball patty, provolone, garlic aioli & marinara, all piled onto a garlic parmesan bun.

🌶️ The Spicy Italian — Italian meatball patty, pepper jack, garlic aioli & spicy pepper relish, served on a garlic parmesan bun.

And because Wednesday deserves a little vino… 🍷 ALL bottles and glasses of wine are HALF PRICE every Wednesday!
