Items from Michigan businesses! 4640 West River Dr, Comstock Park, MI We are a take-out barbecue restaurant, who offers old school, pit style barbecue! All of our sides and sauces are made in house as well. You can call ahead and pre-order your food for pick up if you desire several servings of items for a larger gathering. We also offer a full catering menu. Besides the foods you see on our every day takeout menu, we have many other options, including, but not limited to, pig roasts, more side options and more meat options. Our catering is not limited to what you see on the website. We would love to help you create a unique party!! All of our sauces and rubs are made in-house and made to fit your tastes. You may choose to pick up, have food delivered or even grilled on site.

ATTENTION ALL OF YOU CORNBREAD LOVERS!

This Saturday, 9-26, the Chili Cook-off At The Ballpark will be held at Garage Bar/Chicago Beef Joint (since the ball park is under construction)!

Since we hear A LOT of people say that they LOVE our cornbread so much that they could eat a whole sheet pan worth, TGC will be holding the 1ST EVER CORNBREAD EATING COMPETITION! 8 contestants, and 10 minutes to eat as much cornbread as you can! We will be going by weight and not by pieces! 1st place will get $100 and a $50 TGC gift card, 2nd place will get a $50 gift card from Garage Bar, and everyone else will get all 4 of our TGC spice blends!!
