At 3 am it was already 74° in our restaurant, and not to be dramatic, but with the radiant heat from a flat top, that's like 130°
Once we opened, we noticed that our kitchen manager was starting to have car troubles (photo 1). Now, if you know anything about running a small local business, especially one that is fast-paced, then you know that it only takes one single employee calling in to completely impact our daily operations and overall individual employee workload. To prevent this from happening, our “all-female staff” had to come up with a quick solution, and now our manager is back in business! (photo 2)
Overall we are posting to let you know that we survived the day but unfortunately our baked beans did not (photo 3). WE WILL NOT BE HAVING BAKED BEANS ON SPECIAL THIS WEEK. We will say these baked beans are a representation of how we felt today running around 🥵.
And to end this post, here is our waitress Jen! She’s too hot to stand while taking orders so she needed to sit down with her personal fan… but hey, if that’s what it takes to get the job done 👏 (photo 4)
