🥞 OUR AUGUST RECAP!

From opening Jill’s Diner four months ago to launching the Columbus Collective Realty Group- F.C. Tucker Real Estate Experts a little less than two months ago, we’ve overcome plenty of hurdles—and we couldn't be happier with how things are going!

🏆 August was an absolute blockbuster month for both businesses. Here is a look at what we accomplished together:

• Our restaurant continued to have record sales after 18 years in business.
• Our restaurant was featured in the August 2026 issue of Columbus living magazine!
• Fulfilled a record number of catering orders!
• Our real estate group hit nearly 1.8MM in real estate between new August listings and closings for the month!
• We hit our real estate cap!
• Baked and donated 100+ loaves of bread and cookies!
• We helped raise over $1,500 for a local elementary school.
• Provided 10+ packed backpacks for kids in need and donated some gift cards to teachers for the new school year
• Collected and delivered 3 full totes of school supplies to BCSC, thanks to our amazing guests and clients who helped contribute to these donations ❤️ Thank you to everyone who supports us and our businesses!

♥️ We had a great time with our friends and family making this video and it’s awesome to see what our space looked like back then.

🤩 It has been a whole year since the original post of this announcement video. After months of waiting to receive our state design release, we were finally able to receive county permits for our buildout! Receiving all of the required approvals was an absolute nightmare but we did it and we are so happy with how everything turned out 👏

Our Lost and Found manager (a.k.a. your waitress, Jen) takes her responsibilities very seriously. We’re making this post because It’s been 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟒𝟎 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭.
Jen has protected this property with a level of intensity that makes us think your key is a highly classified government asset. Either that, or she is completely losing her mind and entering her villain era from babysitting your property.

She has been acting incredibly strange over this key and has been begging us to make this 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭, so today we told her we would, and... 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥, 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨 🧐 We’re really not sure if we should be proud or concerned at this time.

her own car keys that she is currently searching for while we are typing this post.

Reminder that we are closed today 🥞

WE WILL BE CLOSED TUESDAY AUGUST 11th.

We finally broke the news to our waitress Jen that our restaurant will be closed on Tuesday.

We told her we were shutting down specifically for her so she could have a much-needed day off to hit the casino and raid the thrift stores. 😂🎰🛍️

She not only stared at us in complete disbelief, She was absolutely touched. We’d say that overall she took it very well.

She thought the entire restaurant had come together to give her the ultimate Jen Appreciation Day.

We probably should’ve mentioned that the REAL reason we’re closed is because the parking lot is getting re-paved. 😂🚧 But hey… let her believe this was all about her. She deserves the illusion. 🤣

Enjoy your Tuesday, Jen. Go win us some money and find some treasures. 😂 If she comes back broke then it’s her own as-phalt 🫡🚧

🤗 We are very blessed after 17 years to finally have a location large enough, allowing us to host something this meaningful.

Columbus Collective Realty Group- F.C. Tucker Real Estate Experts will be placing a donation tote in our restaurant tomorrow at 6am! We appreciate any and all school supply donations helping the students of our community enter the 26-27 school year prepared.

🗞️ Good news and bad news!

✅ Good news: Our mini splits have arrived and are installed!
⚠️ Bad news: Our waitresses are no longer offering personal fanning services to our guests.
TBH…. Tomorrow would have actually been our first day of offering this service but thankfully our contractors showed up just in time!

😎Thanks to everyone who endured the sauna with us—we're officially back to staying cool!
🌬️Tomorrow, we're looking forward to doing business in actual air conditioning instead of pretending handheld fans were enough.

🍻 A huge shoutout to our neighbors at Ziggies for offering and bringing us multiple high power fans helping us get through the heat.

🥞 Come by, cool off with us, and help us celebrate this very exciting upgrade! We'll be the ones smiling in the air conditioning. We have defeated the heat by surviving the Great Diner Heatwave of ‘26!
