Our Story

We feature locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, creatively prepared. An "heirloom" refers to a type of vegetable with desirable qualities, such as outstanding flavor, which is maintained through propagation. We serve breakfast all day in addition to soup, fresh salads, sandwiches, bowls, house-made goods, and coffee from Crimson Cup. We also have a great beer and wine selection. With affordable prices and a variety of dishes (friendly to omnivores, vegetarians, and vegans alike), Heirloom is a destination for both the university community and the broader community. Heirloom was conceived by John and Kimberly Skaggs, longtime members of the Columbus culinary community who have been involved with Two Caterers and Northstar. Jeremy Fox acquired the business in October 2019 and will continue to build upon the legacy the Skaggs buit.
