Come celebrate Saturday Night with friends at a 200 year old New Orleans style mansion that will make you wonder if you are in a fever dream transported to New Orleans on Bourbon Street.

Sing beautifully. Sing terribly. Dance shamelessly. Just don’t miss it... or you may spend the rest of the year regretting how you missed what is always a legendary night with an open mic.

Open at 5 PM for dinner, Karaoke starts at 8:00 PM at the G-**ot, lower level, side entrance. Think this is only a stuff place your grandparent used to visit? It's time to meet the other side of her personality!

We have a habit of feeding more than your appetite. Inside our 1839 New Orleans-style mansion, scratch-made meals arrive with garden-fresh ingredients and a generous side of curiosity. Historic rooms start conversations. Art, objects and oddities give you something to talk about. Live music lifts the spirit. Laughter moves from table to table. And... your phone may finally realize it is definitely not the most interesting thing in the room.

The best meals aren’t only about what’s on the table, they’re about who gathers around it, the stories that are shared and those wonderful moments when everyone forgets that they were in a hurry.

Last night, the G-House didn't just Drop the Mic... it nearly dropped a chandelier... and possibly dropped reality. 🎤👑🎉

For Prince Marselo's birthday, the 1839 New Orleans-style mansion transformed into a full-blown Bourbon Street fever dream. People sang like they were alone in the shower, danced like nobody was watching (even though everybody was), and hugged like we were one big family that had completely forgotten the world outside our front door.

Some voices deserved Grammys. Others deserved witness protection. But, every single one deserved enthusiastic applause.

The resident ghosts filed a complaint related to parahuman activity. The chandeliers are still recovering. Somewhere, karaoke history was rewritten forever.

But here's what made the night legendary...

Nobody cared if you could sing. Nobody cared who you were. For a few glorious hours there were no strangers, no divisions, no worries; just laughter, music, outrageous dance moves, off-key masterpieces, and enough joy to make an 187-year-old mansion feel brand new again while honoring a legendary man's birthday.

Prince Marcelo, thank you for giving us a birthday we'll be talking about for years... and being an amazing chapter in a two century history. At The Goetchius House, we don't just throw parties...
