around, and now, that legacy lives on through Jackrabbitt’s. The name Jackrabbitt pays homage to my father—Papa was a rolling stone, and wherever he lit his grill, that was home. He traveled, grilled, and shared his gift far and wide, leaving a trail of full bellies and happy hearts. Inspired by his spirit and skill, I’ve taken up the tongs and firewood to keep the tradition alive. We wood-smoke our meats low and slow for hours before they ever touch the grill. This isn’t just BBQ; it’s generational craft, perfected over time and served with heart. Though I’ve spent decades working in healthcare, BBQ has always been in my blood. What started as a retirement dream has become a passion project rooted in home—right here in Columbus, Indiana.
