For decades, the Chef-O-Nette Restaurant has been a true Upper Arlington staple, serving up classic diner favorites and a healthy dose of nostalgia from its home at 2090 Tremont Center. For generations, it’s been the kind of place where families gather, neighbors catch up, and every seat at the counter tells part of the story.

Step inside and it feels like time slows down—in the best way. From the vintage diner atmosphere to the sound of the grill and the familiar rhythm of a neighborhood eatery, Chef-O-Nette has always been more than a place to eat. It’s where memories are made over breakfast, lunch, and everything in between.

That legacy continues today under the ownership of the Purdum family, who purchased the restaurant in 2024. After a thoughtful renovation, they preserved the diner’s classic character while ensuring it’s ready to serve the community for years to come. Their goal wasn’t to change what Chef-O-Nette is—but to protect what makes it special.
