As the oldest tavern west of the Missouri River, Glur's Tavern in Columbus has hosted Buffalo Bill Cody! You walk into a white clapboard building that looks like a house and step onto ancient wooden floors. You order the "Glur Burger," a simple, no-frills patty served with chips and pickles. The beer is cold and cheap, often enjoyed in the beer garden out back. The history is the main draw, with photos and dust from the 1870s still lingering. You leave having had a drink in a true frontier relic.
