Good afternoon, Bearded Baker Family. It is with a heavy heart that we write this letter. Unfortunately last night, our bakery was broken into. We were hopeful that this was just a broken window, but in fact it was more. The loss of property can be fixed, but please bear with us as this will take time to straighten out. On top of stolen property there was additional property damage that will have to be fixed before we are able to open again. We are unsure of what this might all entail.
If you have a standing order with us for this week, please reach out if we have not already done so that we can make arrangements for your orders.
As many of you know, all of our products, both sweets and soups are made from scratch. Due to the nature of this, we do not have a set in stone reopening date at this time. We are hoping that this will be a quick fix and to be back open in a few days, but we do not want to get our community members' hopes up. We are so sorry to those who have planned to visit in the next few days. We will keep you informed as we receive new updates. At this time, we are not taking any additional orders for this week or next. We apologize for any inconveniences that this may cause.
We love and appreciate all of your understanding as we navigate this.
We truly appreciate a member of our community for making us aware of what had taken place and are so grateful for them.
We hope to see all of your smiling faces again as soon as possible.
