The Marathon Never Stops
Fishburger has survived a fire, a car crashing through the restaurant, multiple restarts, and eight years of figuring out what comes next.
And Randy is still cooking.
Fishburger started in 2018 with Randy selling burgers and his original fish sandwiches out of his home. As people started talking, the business grew, the name Fishburger came to life, and Randy created the salmon burger to make the brand something all its own.
Eventually, he bought a food truck.
Then a grease fire erupted inside it and caught Randy on fire. A nearby customer grabbed a fire extinguisher, put out the flames, and helped him escape.
He survived and kept going.
Randy later opened a full-service restaurant.
Then someone stole a car and crashed it through the building.
So he went back home.
Back to cooking. Back to serving. Back to doing whatever he had to do to keep Fishburger alive.
Eventually, he found the location Fishburger calls home today.
For the past few years, Randy has continued serving the community the same way he started:
One meal at a time.
There have been packed rooms, empty rooms, milestones, setbacks, and plenty of reasons to stop.
But he is still here.
Still cooking.
Still serving.
Still building.
Because for Randy, this has never been a sprint.
It’s a marathon.
And the marathon never stops.
