Dinner in the Dark The Blind Ninja Dinner Challenge is hiring! Make a very competitive hourly rate plus great tips!
If you have experience as a Tour Guide, Actor (High School is fine), Bartender (We need personalities!), Performer ... or can entertain and tell a story to a large crowd..then we want you!
A new Interactive Dinner Theater Concept is looking for actors who have amazing interpersonal relationship abilities to guide participants through a two-hour culinary adventure!
Our new take on the world-famous Dinner In The Dark concept has participants greeted by their Dinner Ninja (hopefully you) who will build a relationship with them in the lobby, give them the rules and tips and then guide them into the darkness where they must overcome a series of challenges to find their food…find their mouth and eat…(maybe!).
This fast-paced and highly engaging show rests mainly on the amazing personality and on-the-fly wise cracks and volcanic enthusiasm of our actor staff.
Your use of voice, intonations, dramatic pause and sense of timing of are all skill sets that you will engage when producing each show. Without sight, the guests will be entertained by our challenges, the fact that they can’t see, our script….but most importantly...YOUR AWESOMENESS!
We are looking for a cast of four to five Dinner Ninjas for our production in Columbus and we will grow from there.
You will need to be able to work shows 6 pm and 8:30 pm on Friday and Saturday nights with call times at 4:00 to 5 pm to prep the show.
We are looking for dedicated performers that want to enhance their portfolio while building their resume and making great tips while having a blast!
If you are selected for this position, you will also be given preferred Axe Throwing Coaching shows where we hire actors as well (they make killer tips!!!). This interactive theater experience of Axe Throwing is hugely popular. This is not required, but if you want Axe Coaching hours...they are yours!!
Our Dinner In The Dark Concept is one of the most unique theater concepts out there and we are excited to get you started on it. You will be playing the role of “Dinner Ninja” as you guide your Ninjas In Training through an epic sensory experience. ….Yes, you will get to wear a Ninja costume!
Our facility is located in the Brewery District just a few blocks from Shadow Box.
