This month, I celebrate love, authenticity, resilience, and the freedom to be exactly who God created me to be.

As a Black gay man, educator, chef, mentor, and community advocate, I know that visibility matters. Every lesson taught, every meal served, every student encouraged, and every dream pursued is a reminder that we all deserve a seat at the table.

Pride is more than a celebration—it’s honoring those who came before us, uplifting those who are still finding their voice, and creating spaces where everyone feels seen, valued, and loved.

To my LGBTQ+ family and allies: continue walking boldly in your truth. Your story matters. Your presence matters. YOU matter.
