Big L’s Kitchen will be serving Thanksgiving Dinners to the public, plates will be 15.00 dollars per plate, all orders must be placed and paid for by November, 17th, 2023, menu is as follows, Collards or Cabbage, fresh corn, Dressing, Mac-N-Cheese, Turkey, Barbecue Chicken with “Eulene’s Famous chicken Sauce” on it, Spicy or Mild, same great taste, Potato Salad, and Sweet Tea, desserts are extra, Apple Pie is 3.00 dollars per slice, and Candied Yams are 2.75 per serving, or you can build your own plate. Of course building your own plate will be more expensive, Vegetables 4.50 per serving, Dressing 4.00 per serving, Mac-N-Cheese, 4.25 per serving, Barbecue Chicken 4.50 per serving, Potato Salad 3.75 per serving, Sweet Tea 4.50 per serving, Slice of Apple Pie 4.00, and Candied Yams 3.50 per serving. Today at noon Big L’s Kitchen in association with Ghetto Street Writers Publishing paid another surprise visit to The Transition Center, where we passed out Barbecue for lunch, I spoke to some of the people that now find themselves fighting to rejoin the society they were once part of, I will never look down on another human being, because I was once in this same position, but through the grace of God I bounced back, you must never judge a person unless you’ve walked in their shoes, even then thy shall not judge least you be judged. Twice this month we’ve been in the area, tomorrow afternoon will be our last visit in January, look out for us between 1:00-2:00 pm, may God bless your path in all things.
