2006 — 2026 ❤️
For 20 years, SakiTumi has been a part of this community. A place where birthdays were celebrated, first dates happened, friendships were made, and countless memories were shared over good food, drinks, and laughter.
Today, with the heaviest of hearts, we are deeply saddened to announce that SakiTumi has permanently closed its doors.
To our community: thank you. Thank you for choosing us for your celebrations, your date nights, your family dinners, and even those nights when you just needed somewhere to unwind. Thank you for your loyalty, your kindness, your support, and for allowing us to be a part of your lives for the last 20 years. Every visit, every recommendation, every kind word, and every person who walked through our doors meant more than you will ever know.
We would also like to take a moment to thank our owner, Steve. Thank you for working so hard, for believing in this place, and for fighting until the very last second to keep SakiTumi going. We know how much this restaurant meant to you, and we know how hard you fought to keep its doors open. Your dedication, sacrifices, and love for this restaurant will never be forgotten.
And a few words to Dave… We cannot thank you enough for opening this place 20 years ago. Without you, none of us would have had the opportunity to experience SakiTumi. You created a place where so many people could come together, make memories, build friendships, and feel at home. Thank you for everything you poured into this restaurant and this community. Your impact will never be forgotten, and we will always be grateful for the memories you helped create. ❤️
To our staff: Where do we even begin?
You were never just employees. You were our family.
Through the hard nights, the busy nights, the slow nights, the long shifts, and everything in between, you showed up. You gave SakiTumi your time, your energy, your talent, and so much of yourselves. You helped create the atmosphere that kept people coming back. You made guests feel welcome, you made each other laugh, and you made this restaurant what it was.
We could not have possibly gotten through 20 years of SakiTumi without you. Every server, bartender, cook, host, manager, dishwasher, and every person who has ever been a part of this team helped write the story of this restaurant. You deserve so much recognition for everything you have given us.
To the regulars who became friends, to the families who watched their children grow up here, to the couples who celebrated anniversaries, to the coworkers who made SakiTumi their after-work spot, and to everyone who has ever called this place home: we hope you know how much you have meant to us.
There is no way to put 20 years of memories into one caption. There is no way to properly thank every person who has walked through these doors. But we hope you can feel the love behind these words.
We are going to miss the familiar faces. We are going to miss the sounds of the restaurant, the laughter, the late nights, and the little moments that made every day different. We are going to miss the people who became part of our everyday lives.
Most of all, we are going to miss being SakiTumi.
Thank you for letting us serve you. Thank you for letting us grow alongside you. Thank you for making us part of your stories.
As we close this chapter, we hope you carry the good memories with you. We hope you remember the laughter, the celebrations, the people, and all the little moments that made SakiTumi special.
