Columbia's Original Riverfront Brewery, Restaurant, Biergarten

Located in the Canalside Apartments. Free Parking Deck on Canalside Street

Bierkeller is inspired by the experiences that owner, Scott Burgess, had during the decade-plus he spent living in Germany. Founded in 2015, Bierkeller operated as a pop-up biergarten experience hosting events all along the Congaree River. In August of 2023, Burgess opened the doors to the brick-and-mortar location (also along the Congaree).
