An Important Update from Rue 6 Bistro 🤍

Over the past two+ years, what began as a simple vision for a quiet place for dinner, wine and genuine conversation has grown into something deeply meaningful. This journey became special because of the people who chose to spend their evenings with us.

Recently, I was diagnosed with cancer. While I have begun treatment and the early results are very positive, I will need to step away fully over the coming months for recovery.

Because Rue 6 has always been such a deeply personal and hands-on concept, it cannot continue in my absence in the way it was intended. As a result, Rue 6 Bistro will be closing in the coming weeks.

This was an incredibly difficult decision, but I believe it is the right one in order to honor the care, presence, and consistency that have always defined the Rue 6 experience.

I am profoundly grateful for your support, kindness, and belief in what we built here, and I hope to welcome many of you back to the table one last time before we close this chapter.

Please note the following details regarding our final weeks:

✨ Limited Prix Fixe Seating
We will continue our guided prix fixe dinners on Fridays and Saturdays with reduced seating to maintain an intimate experience.

🎟️ Gift Card Redemption
If you have a gift card, please book your table via OpenTable as soon as possible so we can celebrate with you before we close.

🗓️ Final Service Details
Our final dinner service date will be announced soon. We intend to maintain normal lunch service Thursday through Saturday until then.

While I don’t yet know what the future holds, I hope this is not truly the end of Rue 6, but simply a pause before a different chapter begins.
