As a teacher-owned business, public education is very important to our family and we are ready for a change in our state. This Teacher Appreciation Week, we wanted to do something a little different to show our support. We’ve partnered with who is running for State Superintendent of Education to create this drink. The “Be the Change” combines Lisa’s favorites and is an iced chai latte with salted caramel cold foam. Order the “Be the Change” this coming week, and ALL of the proceeds will be donated to her campaign. Teachers, we love you and you deserve so much better! 🍎

We love when we get to be a part of celebrations for women that mean a lot to us! Today, we’re celebrating five years of ! Suzie is the sweetest person and we both opened our businesses the same year so we’re bday twins. Come celebrate with her and her team at their boutique until 4pm! 🌷

Last night, we served at the ribbon cutting for ’ new building! Tiffany and Dawn have been our go-to sign company for years and we will never work with anyone else. They do all of our signage at the shop, but are also responsible for our coffee carts & the pretty van you see driving around town. They’ve become friends and it was so fun being there for their big night. Congrats to all of these women & thank you for letting Azalea play a small role! 🩷

Tomorrow (4.28) is Zoi’s last shift at Azalea. 😢 It’s basically an all things Zoi day so come by between 8am & 2pm and wish her luck on her next adventure. Nothing I write here will ever be good enough to show how much she’s meant to me and Azalea over these past 4 years, but we (definitely me) will miss her so much. There’s just simply no way that this coffee shop would be what it is today without her!

We will be closing a little early tomorrow at 2pm for a little staff goodbye party.

You may have seen that we recently celebrated our five year anniversary and although we haven’t been able to plan a big celebration, we wanted to do a little something! So, we have a birthday drink on the menu this weekend only! Here’s how we make the “Azalea”…first, we line the cup with frosting from and pink sprinkles, then we add our house birthday cake syrup, espresso, your milk of choice, ice, cold foam with more of the birthday cake syrup, more sprinkles, andddd a candle. A few lucky customers will get a star candle and if you get one of those, you also get a $10 gift card. Not a coffee fan? Try this one as a matcha latte! Five years ago today, I unlocked the doors to our Devine street location and dialed in our espresso machine for what would be the first of many opening shifts. I thought about going through my pictures to find some of my favorite memories from the past five years but there’s simply too many for one post. The truth is, a lot of small businesses don’t make it five years. And the only reason we have is because of you. Our community. So much has changed since we opened in 2021, and this recent review showed me that maybe, just maybe, we’re still doing something right.

I took these pictures of our addition this morning and it may not look like much but it’s coming along! We’re so close to having a kitchen and more space for you guys to enjoy. I can’t wait to see what the next five years will bring. I’ll never be able to say how grateful I am for every person that has made Azalea what it is today but thank you! 🩷Brittany
