1. What made you want to buy The Nook?
- I wanted to be an owner not just an employee I wanted to make money for myself. Truth is, I wasn't even looking to buy it and it just came up for sale. I made an offer and so much is history.
2. Any fears or dreams you had for it in the beginning
- not really
3. What has kept you going this whole time?
- It was a living and something to do, serving people. I never thought of doing anything else.
4. What is your favorite thing to eat at the nook?
-Coney dogs, hamburgers, chicken strips, tenderloin, and French fries
5. Looking back is there anything that you would choose to do differently?
- We have evolved and done things differently, but I have no regrets about my choices.
6. What do you think about everyone who has shown up in the last couple of weeks?
-I am happy for them to feel like they want to celebrate with us and have one last meal. I feel very encouraged that everyone respects me and wants to come out.
7. anything that you want to say to your customers?
- I appreciate your friendship and you all feel like family we've gotten to know so many over the years. It was personal. I say thank you.
8. Anything you would like to say to your staff?
-I appreciate all the help we've had over the years and especially here at the end. You've all been wonderful at making the customers feel like family!
