Sometimes when you work in a restaurant, you have to get a little creative with your own food. Our favorite "off the menu" items:

Dave: a chicken strip basket with both regular and fiery chicken strips

Shanna: cheese sticks smothered in Coney sauce and hot sauce

Jenny: French fries smothered in Coney sauce

Amy: double sizzler with cheese, onions and bbq sauce

Have you ever wondered what our favorites are? Today we'll tell you about our favorite way to eat a hotdog.

Dave: He likes a classic coney dog: mustard, coney sauce, and onion. He wants it piping hot and with a dash of hot sauce.

Shanna: She likes a simple, plain hotdog and she smooshes it flat and tears bites off.

Jenny: Jenny likes to mix hers up. She likes Coney sauce, a little bit of onion and a drizzle of ranch dressing or sometimes honey mustard.

Amy: She likes melted cheese, Coney sauce, and relish for her perfect dog.

It was so great to visit The Nook today for a coney basket and chocolate shake. So delicious. And to talk to Dave--my very first employer in 1974! Can't wait to come again.
