Hello Facebook family, friends, and our good cousins!
You know anytime there’s a story or TEA 🍵 to tell, we’d rather tell it ourselves
Today, we had a routine inspection from the Health Department.
We received three violations, which were:
• No paper towels available at one back-of-house handwashing sink.
• A personal water bottle was stored in the kitchen.
• One of our chefs was wearing gloves while preparing a salad but accidentally used an ungloved hand to place carrots on top.
Additionally, one of our refrigeration units was found with the door left open, so two food items were immediately placed into an ice bath to maintain proper temperatures and corrected on the spot
We’re happy to share that all of these items were addressed immediately, and we remain open and serving our guests.
As with all Health Department inspections, our inspection report is public record and available for anyone to review.
We appreciate our incredible team for the hard work they put in every single day.
No kitchen is perfect, but what matters most is how quickly issues are identified, corrected, and prevented from happening again.
These young chefs put in time and effort to ensure the quality of our food is A1 and that safety is first. Chef Lucas and Chef T will make sure to continue to retrain as often as needed for even more efficiency
At Luchals, food safety will always be our top priority, and we’re committed to maintaining
the highest standards for our guests.
Thank you for your continued support, trust, and understanding.
If you ever have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out we’re always happy to have an open conversation.
See you for dinner☺️
(Ps. Everyone Knows its public record but why not talk about it 🤷🏾♀️)
