4 months ago my husband and I closed the fountain location of Colorado Smokehouse due to my health. The restaurant was handed over to another business owner who we knew would do amazing with it.
I planned to help and be there to help them open and get things going.
Life happens and my health took a bad turn, emergency surgerylanded me in the hospital for awhile, then cancer came back and a death in our immediate family.
Fast fwd to today!! I can finally say we are back up and running!!
So please welcome Murray street darts off Platte and Murray in their new adventure in BBQ!
Some things have changed somethings have stayed the same but all in all it’s AMAZING smoked BBQ!
Tonight we are doing a soft opening to get this started!
Give them some grace on hours and times they will be serving!
Tonight we have chicken, brisket, pork and ribs!!

Today is our final day. It has been a pleasure and an honor to serve you all. To anyone that was a regular, a casual customer, and even to the individuals that didn't care for us, thank you for trying our food and restaurant. The community means a lot to us, and local means a lot to us. Seems that most folks would rather spend $6 for French Fries and a coke. It Is a bittersweet day, and with all the mixed emotions we did want to show appreciation to our family, which we strive to make you feel like if you ever graced us with your presence. We are open until 6, or until we sell out. Thank you Fountain, we appreciate the loyal support throughout the years.

Our twin pitties just wanted to remind you that today is the beginning of the final five days for Colorado Smokehouse. You have five days to grub on some of our humans barbeque! Come early, come often. We love and appreciate you all!!

It is with our deepest regret that we have to announce that as of June 30th 2024 Colorado Smokehouse after 15 years will be closing and leaving the fountain area.
It has been our pleasure over the last 4 years that we have owned the place to serve the community and our loyal customers.
There is a saying when 1 door closes another one opens.. stay tuned for an announcement 📣 in Aug.
To help with the transition of closing we will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays for now on. Our new hours are Wed-Sun 11-7pm.
Father’s Day we will be open a half day.
