What. A. Month. 💛

May was packed full in the very best way — catered events, meal prep deliveries, a perfect health inspection, a feature on KRDO… and even a much-needed Disney trip with my new hubby in the middle of it all. 🏰💍

And yes… those meal prep numbers are with one full week off in May because the event calendar was stacked 😅🙌 Plus, they don’t even include breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, muffins, parfaits, snackies, or add-ons… which honestly makes this month feel even more wild (and exciting!).

Every order placed, every event booked, every share, referral, review, and kind message truly means so much. Chef in Boots continues to grow because of this amazing community, and I don’t take that for granted for a second.

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice — and the sacrifice carried by so many military families — is something we can never fully repay.

Living in Colorado Springs and being surrounded by such a strong military community makes that gratitude feel especially close to home.

Today is for remembrance, reflection, and honoring those who gave everything for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙

Finished up meal prep grocery shopping and decided I absolutely earned a mini happy hour 😄

I never got the chance to try last week’s Dirty Martini Dip… so naturally I made myself a Tito’s dirty martini to go with it. (A little extra dirty by accident lol… but honestly no complaints 🤣🫒)

And somehow the whole setup felt even more special served on this gorgeous resin tray made by The Teal Elephant using a few of the leftover flowers from our wedding 🥹💐💛 Such a fun way to preserve a little piece of the day and actually use it around the house.

Before I fully disappear into birthday celebrations, good food, and “Honeymoon 1.5” with my hubby 😄💛… here is next week’s Chef in Boots meal prep menu!

✈️💛 We made it!!! 💛✈️

A HUGE thank you to all my pickup customers today for coming early/on time so I could get home, grab my suitcase, and make the drive up to Denver for a mini vacation with my new hubby 🥹💍

We’re officially calling it “Honeymoon 1.5” 🤣💕

But really… it’s my birthday trip (May 19 🎂) because the usual spa day just was NOT going to cut it with how busy life and business have been lately 😅

Very excited for a couple days of relaxing, eating good food that I didn’t cook, and spending some quality time together 💛

And don’t worry — the new meal prep menu will still be dropping tomorrow (birthday Tuesday 😄) for pickup/delivery on Monday, May 25!

Just a quick heads up though: I’ll likely be slow (if at all) responding to messages and emails while away so I can fully unplug for a couple days ✨
