📅 A Quick Scheduling Update 💛

As many of you know, it's that time of year when I head back out to the ranch for a few weeks of personal chef work. This incredible family is actually the reason Chef in Boots exists today—they gave me my very first opportunity as a personal chef back in 2016, and I've been lucky enough to cook for them several times per year since. It's one of my favorite traditions, and I'm so grateful our paths crossed all those years ago. Because of that, meal prep will look a little different over the next month and a half. There may be a few schedule shifts as I balance both sides of Chef in Boots, but I'll do my very best to keep things as consistent as possible and will continue communicating the schedule well in advance so you always know what's coming.

Thank you, as always, for your flexibility, understanding, and support. It means the world to me that this little business allows me to continue serving the family who helped launch this journey while also serving all of you here at home. I truly have the best clients, and I can't wait to keep bringing you delicious meals—whether I'm cooking here in Colorado Springs or out on the ranch! 🤠👩‍🍳💛

🎉🍽️ WE'RE BACK...AND THIS WEEK'S MENU IS LIVE! 🍽️🎉

After a whirlwind couple of weeks of moving, unpacking, and getting settled into our new home, I'm so excited to be back in the kitchen! 💛

This week's menu is a little smaller than usual as I finish unpacking boxes and get everything back into its new routine, but I couldn't wait any longer to start cooking for all of you again. Don't worry—the full Chef in Boots menu will be back before you know it!

❤️🤍💙 Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

This year, as I'm packing boxes and getting ready to move into our new home (where I can FINALLY host family dinners and FINALLY grill and smoke food again! 😍), I can't help but feel incredibly grateful.

To me, this is the American Dream—the opportunity to take a chance on a dream, work hard, build something from the ground up, and watch it grow into a life you never imagined possible.

Chef in Boots has opened so many doors for me, and none of it would have been possible without this amazing community. Thank you for supporting this little business, believing in me, and allowing me to do what I love every single day.

I hope your day is filled with good food, great company, and plenty of reasons to celebrate. Today, I'm especially grateful to live in a country where dreams like mine are possible.

💚 Today is National Wildland Firefighter Day 💚

Today, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible men and women working tirelessly to protect our Colorado communities. With the Aspen Acres Fire so close to home, this one feels especially personal. While many of us are going about our daily routines (or packing to move homes!), wildland firefighters and the countless emergency personnel supporting them are spending long days and sleepless nights battling difficult conditions to keep people, homes, and our beautiful state safe.

Thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your unwavering commitment to serving others. We see you, we appreciate you, and we're incredibly grateful for everything you do.

Please continue to keep all of the firefighters, first responders, support crews, and the families and neighbors affected by the Aspen Acres Fire in your thoughts and prayers. 🚒❤️

Today, we honor the dedicated members of the wildland firefighting community who protect our communities and natural resources from wildfires. Their courage, dedication and sacrifice are remarkable.

THANK YOU to our firefighters, dispatchers, map creators, equipment operators, radio technicians, public information officers and all others who support wildland fire response.

💛 A Quick Schedule Update 💛

I always try to keep you all in the loop, so I wanted to share a quick update.

After a lot of thought (and looking at everything on my calendar 😅), I've made the difficult decision to start my planned two-week break one week earlier than expected. That means there will be no meal prep on June 30 or July 6.

Between preparing for a 90-person gala this weekend, around-the-clock condo showings, packing up our home, moving into our new house over the holiday weekend, and somehow squeezing in all the usual Chef in Boots and everyday life responsibilities...I've realized I simply need a little more breathing room to get through these next couple of weeks.

The good news? ✨ Because I'm starting my break earlier, I'll also be back a week earlier than originally planned! That means meal prep will officially return with pickup and delivery on Monday, July 13! 🎉

I truly hate making last-minute changes like this, and I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. You all have been so supportive through every season of this little business, and I can't thank you enough for the grace you've always shown me.

I'm looking forward to getting settled into our new home, tackling this exciting (and slightly chaotic 😂) chapter, and coming back refreshed and ready to cook up another season of delicious meals for all of you.

And while I can't make any promises, keep an eye on this page while I'm away 👀. If my schedule allows and I find a little extra time between unpacking boxes, there may be an opportunity for a surprise pop-up menu or two. No guarantees—but you know I have a hard time staying out of the kitchen for long! 😉

⛈️💛 A huge shoutout to the amazing Chef in Boots delivery team today! 💛⛈️

While many of us were watching the thunderstorm roll in from the comfort of our homes, these rockstars were out making sure your meal prep orders still arrived safely and on time — through the rain, hail, and all the fun Colorado weather had to offer this afternoon. 😅🌧️🌩️

I'm incredibly grateful for a team that cares so much about our clients and is willing to brave the elements to get meals where they need to go.
