Last week we fed 750 people under the Colorado bridge. The annual “breakfast under the bridge “ to help fund The Place- a refuge for homeless youth in Colorado Springs, was a success with an unbelievable turnout. But while there, I witnessed a young man, not far from the food table experiencing withdrawal. Brought it all home to me. These kids are rejected by their parents, addicted, outcasts or out of sync.
We have an obligation to be better stewards and realize that they could be productive and fit in when given a chance. Just like someone who works with us at The Picnic Basket. He has come full circle from “The Place” to “Our Place. Thankful.

The secret to a multi-course soirée isn't just the menu, it is the orchestration of the experience.

When we designed the recent evening for the team at SVB Interests, we focused on the architecture of flavor. We anchored the experience with a Pear Tomato and Burrata Caprese, followed by a Chilled White Gazpacho shooter that cut through the warmth of the evening.

The main event featured our Mixed Wild Grill, showcasing local elk tenderloin and wild-caught salmon, finished with our signature Coffee and a Smoke Crème Brûlée.

At Cravings, we believe that high-end catering is about more than just filling plates; it is about creating a moment that guests will talk about long after the final course is cleared.
