And that's a wrap! Our doors are now closed. Porkbutt is no more. We know you all are sad about this, and we are sorry, but this is a very good thing for us.

Thank you for all the ways you all have shown so much love to us this week (and throughout our journey)! The turnout from you guys this week has been incredible!

The biggest reason why we wanted to leave the food truck and open this brick & mortar was because we wanted to build community. We knew that we had accomplished this in part, but didn't realize how big this community of ours had become until this week. We are so grateful to have had the honor to meet every one of you and have the opportunity to serve you and your families. Thank you for being part of our village!

We are stepping back from the food service world entirely.

Joshua is returning to nursing and I'm working on restoring my health. I have Scleroderma and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (quite an odd combo, lol). One is autoimmune, the other genetic... both lifeline chronic conditions that aren't going to go away.

Preventation is the best medicine for Scleroderma (inflammation turns to fibrosis if not kept in check) and the EDS is just a lot of extra heavy baggage (chronic fatigue and pain).

I'm honestly so relieved and excited to be able to regain some sort of normalcy again!

And write a cookbook!

We will also be giving priority to our customers in house, so we may not be able to answer the phone if it's too busy.
