With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Troy Shepherd, a beloved wife and mother.
Troy will be remembered for her amazing personality, her great sense of humor that could light up any room, and the strong, lasting connections she built throughout our community. She touched so many lives with her warmth, kindness, and spirit, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
The Shepherd family is navigating this difficult time and could use support with final expenses. Memorial accounts have been set up at both Bank of the San Juans and Wings Credit Union for anyone who wishes to contribute.
If you are unable to attend the memorial service but would still like to express your love and support, cards of condolence and encouragement can be dropped off at High Octane BBQ. The family will be grateful for every kind word and gesture.
Please keep the Shepherd family in your thoughts and prayers during this time of profound loss.

A huge thank you to everyone at Rye Café for stopping by to check on us after finally being able to return home and reopen your business following the fire evacuation.
Even after everything you been through, you still took the time to ask how we were doing and even offered to bring us pizza. That kind of kindness and generosity says so much about who you are.
We're grateful to be part of a community where neighbors look out for one another. Wishing the entire community continued healing and success as everyone gets back on their feet.
Thank you, Rye Café—you truly embody the spirit of the valley.
