🍂 Twin Anchors Farm Update 🍂

This is our last week of daily service at the farm stand for the season. We are so thankful for every loyal customer who has stopped by, shared a kind word, filled their baskets, and supported our farm. Your encouragement and continued business mean more to us than we can say! ❤️

We’ve also restocked the tomatoes, so stop by and pick up some while they’re available! 🍅

Moving forward, we’ll still be accepting online orders, but we’ll be slowing things down a bit as we wrap up the season and prepare for what’s ahead.

Dropped some tomatoes and cucumbers off to our friends at Flame and Skewer

UPDATE: The Rest of the Season at Twin Anchors 🍉❤️

What a season it has been at Twin Anchors Farm

We’ve been open every day, and we truly can’t thank everyone enough for stopping by, sharing our posts, placing online orders, bringing friends and neighbors, and supporting our little farm.

One thing we especially appreciate is the online orders. They’ve been a huge help to our operation and make it possible for us to serve more people while still keeping up with everything happening behind the scenes.

And behind the scenes, it really is a mother-and-son operation. There are only so many hours in the day, and as much as we love seeing everyone at the stand, we also need time to get back to the farm — planning, planting, improving the ground, and figuring out how we can grow even more for you next year.

So as we head toward Labor Day, we’re starting to look at slowing things down.

We may move to weekend hours for a little while, and we’re considering bringing in some pumpkins and other fall favorites.

We’re also tossing around the idea of a special event sometime in September if there’s enough interest. 👀🎃

But we also want to be honest about something: we don't want to burn ourselves out.

This season has taught us a lot about what Twin Anchors can become. Now we need a little time to catch our breath, enjoy what we've built, and put some of that energy into making next year even better.

So if you’ve been thinking about stopping by, come see us while we’re still open daily

Five years ago, Twin Anchors Farm Stand started with nothing more than a hay rack, a little fresh produce, and a big idea.

We didn’t know exactly where the road would lead—but we believed people wanted fresh, locally grown food and a connection to the farm it came from. What began as a simple roadside stand has grown into something we could have only dreamed about.

Today, we’re proud to be distributing produce throughout central and southern Iowa, serving families, communities, businesses, and fellow Iowa food lovers along the way.

We are incredibly grateful for every person who stopped at the stand, shared a post, told a friend, placed an order, or simply encouraged us during those early days. You helped turn that hay rack and idea into Twin Anchors Farm Stand.

Here’s to five years of growing, learning, hard work, and Iowa-grown goodness—and to the seasons still ahead.

Its a beautiful morning at Twin Anchors Farm and the stand is open with many goodies for you to enjoy. 🥒🍉🌽🧅🍅🍈

Hours: Saturday now until 8 pm. Sunday 11-4. Next week: Monday through Friday 11-7.

Online orders accepted.

Jade green beans back in stand along with Brenda’s best zucchini bread while it lasts.

Also some real nice melons in the stand this week along with plenty of tomatoes.
