Hello Red Barn Family,

It has been brought to our attention that we may need to explain a few things. As a family owned business and serving Colleyville residents for over 20yrs transparency/honesty is very important to our family and business.
This being said we appreciate the customer who shared with us, a post about our business so that we may be able to explain things that might have been missed at time of visit.

We offer Regular Sides
and Premium Sides (Onion Rings and Okra)

*Yes, they are posted separate on our menu as they cost $1.00 more.

*Yes, as a small family owned business like many other restaurants in the area we use an outside source to process all electronic transactions and there is a fee. This is posted at our register. We do offer option to pay cash and avoid fee.

* Friday is the only day we offer AYCE Catfish w/ 2 sides and hushpuppies $18.99 Per Person.
Yes, it is $1.00 more for premium sides onion rings or okra
We do not allow sharing of AYCE.

Inflation is working against every business right now with prices rising in every area . Businesses must do what they have to do in order to continue to serve the community, ours included.

We would like to give a shout out to Colleyville Fire Department for their prompt response to our 911 emergency. We can now add Escape Room to our list of things to do at Red Barn BBQ. Never a dull moment and new reasons to come give us a visit. After 39 mins and learning to use a screw driver this ball of sweetness (who in midst of excitement we never got her name) earned the prize of banana pudding before dinner. Live and learn, you can be locked in a restroom and escape.

She is young now but, in her teen years she is gonna look back and wish she got a picture of when she was rescued by 7 fire fighters. All I know is that came in with an ax ready to take care of business.
We will be looking for our 5 Star Escape Room review. Come visit us and make a memory to cherish.

Saddened of the news of another Colleyville business closing. We pray for Rio Mambo and staff. We are in very difficult times as business owner in the area. Please support local businesses. Yes, we are surrounded by larger shopping communities and bigger name restaurants. Please remember you are the community you live in, and Colleyville is an amazing commmunity. We have been blessed to serve for over 20 years and want to continue for many to come. Businesses like ours and many in the community depend on our neighbors. Take the time today to share where you going in the community today. Give them a shout out below.

Allow us to highlight this spicy goodness. This side has quickly become a favorite and found a permanent spot on our menu.
If you haven’t tried our Hatch Green Chile Mac&Cheese come in and grab some today, add some spice to your life.

If you're having a brisket sandwich, shouldn't it be cut to order just like you like it? Tired of those plain deep-fried wings? Come try our Smok'n Hot Wings and Friday 'AYCE' hand-breaded, cooked-to-order catfish. But if your banana pudding doesn't have layers of vanilla wafers and 8 bananas in each pan, well, that's just a shame. We do things a little differently and hope each bite creates or takes you back to a great memory.
