Oktoberfest is right around the corner, which means its time for this year's batch of one of our absolutely favorite lagers. Easy drinking to enjoy with family, friends, or even that person sitting next to you at the bar that you just met.

A light yet malt forward expression of the lager all of our mugs should be filled with continuously and ceremoniously this month. Munich and Pilsner malts, a single decoction, and a beautiful bouquet of Hersbrucker and Michigan grown Saaz hops. As the sun eclipses the horizon the first Azaleas open giving an instant flash of pink to an otherwise brown early spring hillside, while not far hot breakfast tea is poured for the one under a blanket watching the morning mist dissipate as if water had just been poured over hot sauna stones. The effort is worth it, burnt and caramelized grapefruit garnishes make a difference, as does the nostalgic comfort of an old wooden floor, just be careful to catch the drips of honey cascading off a graham cracker before they fall all the way to the ground
