I'm so excited to be here combining my two biggest loves, cupcakes and adoption. To raise money for our final adoption expenses we offered a rotating assortment of cupcakes to our neighbors weekly and were able to fund half of our trip! I fell in love with bringing joy to families by offering my love of baking and have decided to make Pink Elephant cupcakes available all the time! Check in each

Sopapilla is a less often ordered flavor but my absolute favorite. Especially in the original cupcake form. This beauty starts with a vanilla cake with a touch of cinnamon in the batter. Then I inject honey while it’s still warm. The cinnamon buttercream takes it over the top and makes for a flavor you won’t want to stop eating!

August is a difficult cake month because of the weather. Heat and buttercream just don’t mix, but Im so glad to be back in the kitchen. It has taken a while to get the ball moving again after the technical issues we had but now y’all are booking up again and I am so thankful. I love helping you celebrate. This 85th birthday cake was so sweet to put together. I hope she felt so loved!

We are on Vacation Mode! I’ll be back to taking orders August 19th after we get home and I get my kids started in school again. For now follow along with my fam as we take our first road trip since COVID! 🫣🎉🥳 While taking a break from my ovens I’m looking forward to finding small bakeries to indulge in! First stop today was Sara’s Donut Story Flower Mound :). I’ve watched posts about this precious donut shop for quite a while now and when we decided to drive to Minnesota I knew I wanted to try to stop by if we could. We got up at 5 this morning so we could drop our puppies off with family in Houston and then made our way north. We got there just at closing time and were so grateful the door was open ❤️. The owner was so kind and we were able to snag her last half dozen. The maple bacon and Chantilly cream were my favorites! The kids loved the Nutella and s’mores. I loved how cozy and magical the shop felt it was such a joy to taste some things too. Go to Flower Mound if you’re in the DFW area. Check out her social media too to learn more about her shop and the love and creativity that fuels it. (And our bellies for the four hours of driving to Tulsa haha).

{CUPCAKE SALE!!! 🧁} Summer celebrations need cake too! Cupcakes make a great addition to warm weather parties pas they can be frozen or stored in a cooler or fridge. To celebrate sunny days I’ll be offering cupcakes at a discounted summer price! Basic flavors with simple decorations (up to two colors with or without sprinkles) will be only 25$ per dozen and fancier flavors or toppers will also be reduced based on their actual supply cost.
