It’s officially the end of an era at Harvey Washbangers. Our hearts are broken to share that we will not be able to rebuild after the fire, but they have been mended by the overwhelming love and support from our community over the past two weeks. The memories you’ve shared, the love for our team and family, and the kindness and prayers you’ve shown have meant everything to us. While this chapter is closing, we find peace in knowing it’s ending with the same heart and community that made Washbangers so special in the first place.

We hope you'll still come out and see us at our sister restaurant, Stella Southern Cafe. As of this morning, we have begun the process of refunding all donations. Please allow 7-10 days for the refunds to process through GoFundMe.

Even though it's hard to look at, we are thankful for our friend who captured this footage... It will be part of an incredible comeback story..... one day.

The last 48 hours have been some of the hardest we’ve ever faced. Watching Washbangers burn was gut-wrenching. This place wasn’t just walls and a roof or "just a business"—it was home. It was laughter, shared meals, and memories made over 26 incredible years. Losing it so suddenly is a pain unlike anything we could have imagined. But in the midst of this devastation, we have also witnessed something truly remarkable: the unwavering dedication of the first responders who fought with everything they had to protect not just our space, but our community.

To the firefighters and emergency personnel who showed up without hesitation and stood in flames and smoke for hours—you are true heroes. There are no words to fully express our appreciation and gratitude for the long hours you put in and the risks you took. Amid this devastating loss, your bravery has given us something powerful to hold onto: the reminder that this community takes care of its own. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

In these heartbreaking moments, the love from our community has been a lifeline. The messages, the memories shared, the kindness—it has reminded us that Washbangers was never just about a building. While we don’t yet know what the road ahead looks like, we do know that we are surrounded by people who believe in us. And that gives us hope, even when taking on such an unimaginably difficult situation.
