Oh what a week we had at The Wrecking Crew Bakery Cafe! We ended it having done 13 apple strudels, apple cider donuts, our famous apple cake, and cherry almond scones! Good thing our friend brought us a crate full of apples from the orchard he lives on! The girls were on it with the Halloween decorations this week. I will post pictures when we are done next week! We have a lot going on in the next week! Soroptimist mixer, salsa contest and wedding cupcakes!!! The moose (Abby) came to visit! We got her new backseat cover for the new car so her Papa brought her for a visit...she loves bacon and her people. Tried to keep it as mellow as we could this week because Railroad Days kicked our butts! But it's not Saturday without our lovely landlord Sherri Peterson giving out math lessons to the kids! We do it all at The Wrecking Crew! You all will have to come in and check out the spooky decorations for the next month! 👀☠️👻🎃 Thanks Colfax! We love you!

We ended the week at The Wrecking Crew Bakery Cafe on a very happy note!!! We tried some new things and they flew off the shelf!! This week we tried some honey mustard ham and cheese scrolls, and some pizza scrolls! So crisp and tasty 😋 had an order for the museum for a bunch of visitors they had on Friday. We did some mini lemon, and some mini raspberry dark chocolate scones, mini chocolate and lemon donuts, and a mix of cherry chocolate chip, peanut butter, and chocolate chip cookies ❤️ Love supporting our community!! Thanks for calling us Irene! Ham and tomato avocado toast and a blueberry pie order! I get a standing order for pies from a guy who moved here from NY and told his sister in-law that we make the best pies in from NY to California! Thank you GMA Collins! I've been using her pie recipes since we opened under The Wrecking Crew ❤️ She always made the best pies! The girls and kids busted butt this week...have is mentioned how much I appreciate and love my crew? I might have but they always deserve a shout out! They're amazing 😍 I had to throw in a picture of the blackberry ice cream Carrie Cooper Nassi and Gene Hart brought me after giving them blackberries!! Oh my goodness that was some great ice cream! Hearing up for Railroad Days the 13th and 14th...then we have our SALSA CONTEST!! Come in and sign up! It will be delicious 😋 Thank you Colfax, we love you!

The Wrecking Crew Bakery Cafe ended the week fat and happy 😁 This was a month of our New Zealand Wrecking Crew visit, Lolly cake, Asian pear crumble & vanilla ice cream, pecan pie croissants, peach cobbler and avocado toast with fried egg and bacon...oh so good!! Of course we made so much more ❤️ Had a huge order of our Bob's dogs, a couple carrot cakes which I can assure you are amazing 🤩 A month of meeting new people and getting a new neighbor, K.C. Can't wait to see what he brings to our little community! Had a visit with Kevin Kiley who made his way through town to talk with business owners. Starting next week we will be working double time with a lot of orders over the next couple weeks, railroad days coming up, the soroptimist club mixer, and of course our community seating area ribbon cutting!!! A lot more going on than people realize downtown! Come on out and get yourself involved in what's going on in our great little town ❤️🤩 Thank you Colfax, we love you!

We ended the week at The Wrecking Crew Bakery Cafe VERY very busy!!! It did not let up all week! Many orders, selling out buy 10 am at least three times this week and had to fill the case back up! We are pooped! Kids go back to school so you will only see them on the weekends now. It's sad when we have to give them up, but Grace is back and we have Ethan volunteering a couple days a week. Meet some great people this week, a couple from Arizona and their friends from Scotland 🌍 They were talking to Scout and asked me where she was from, and of course I had to ask them! He asked how I got a Kiwi grandbaby 🤣 Well you see it's like this...you can't stop a wonder lust child from leaving home and moving to New Zealand right after high school 🎒❤️ Great people, loved Colfax and was happy they found us! More exciting news to come! We had a special visit that resulted from our segment on Good Day Sacramento that will be another fun adventure for The Wrecking Crew!! I will update you soon. We were asked to do the food for our Saturday regular character and friend Earl Coppin. His memorial was out at the Red Frog yesterday and we were happy to do it for Jana and his daughter Jill. What a sad loss! We miss his sassy self down at the Bakery! His pictures will go up on the memorial library at the bakery next week. We have some new products to try next week. Vietnamese Coffee espresso and cold brew coffee! We were asked by a couple people to try it so we're giving it a shot! We also gave paper jack croissants a try and they sold out within an hour! I'm guessing we will be making more! We look forward to another week with you Colfax! We love you! Thank you!!!
